"This is a hidden gem on the Walking Street in Fisherman’s Village with a picturesque ocean view and breeze! The staff are very welcoming with a “Cheers” vibe! Big bonus they make GREAT drinks! I actually spent a few hours just sitting bar side enjoying the music videos and sampling treats that the bartender let me try. I tried several drinks. All were made very well! Very reasonable price for everything. I’m vegetarian and they have a whole section of their menu dedicated to vegan options!"

"The Frog and Gecko can be found about 2/3rd up the Walking Street in a Westerly direction, It's a great Bar with great food, as for the food, I consider their Chilli Burger to be the best I've ever had, although, If a little hard to control due to the wooden slab it's served on and being one substantial portion . The staff are very attentive and friendly with a very competent chef. There's a general knowledge quiz on Wednesday nights which, in my limited experience, is normally a sell out and quite entertaining. All in all worth a visit for drinks and food whilst you're in the Fisherman's Village. Please take note that the Night Market has now moved further up the Walking Street with the entrance opposite Coco Tam's."

"I have been coming to F&G for years and it feels like ‘coming home’ each time I walk in. From the amazing ‘Wok in a Box’ (such good value!) to the Chicken Burger, the food is all round excellent. The staff are accommodating, from a simple welcoming chat to remembering your preferences, they add to the great atmosphere. The F&G is really a great place in the heart of Fisherman’s Village to enjoy a drink, some food or to soak up the atmosphere"

"Good for a social and casual food experience on the beach. Simple setting, plastic chairs. But huge food portions and the fish ‘n chips were good! The bar at street level can be a bit noisy and disturbing when having dinner but that’s up to each own to decide. Staff is friendly and price level very attractive for this area"
